CG Web Studio – Terms & Conditions

1. Services Provided

1.1 CG Web Studio provides website design and front-end development services only.

1.2 Services include:

• Website layout and design
• Development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Mobile responsive optimization
• Delivery of completed website files

2. Services Not Included

2.1 The following services are not included unless clearly agreed in writing:

• Website hosting
• Domain registration
• Server setup or configuration
• Email hosting
• Ongoing maintenance
• Payment gateway integration
• Backend systems or databases
• Uploading the website to a server

2.2 You are responsible for hosting, domain setup, server configuration, security, and third-party services.

3. E-Commerce Projects

3.1 E-commerce packages include design and front-end layout only.

3.2 They do not include:

• Payment gateway integration
• Transaction processing systems
• Financial systems
• Legal compliance for online sales

3.3 The client is fully responsible for configuring payment systems and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

4. Use of Development Tools

4.1 CG Web Studio may use modern development tools, frameworks, automation software, and artificial intelligence tools to assist in building the website.

4.2 All final work is reviewed and tested before delivery.

5. Client Responsibilities

5.1 By submitting the Google Form, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Provide all required content such as text, images, and branding
• Ensure all content is legally owned or licensed
• Communicate professionally and respond within reasonable timeframes
• Provide feedback during revision stages

5.2 Delays in communication or missing content may delay project completion.

5.3 You are fully responsible for the legality, accuracy, and ownership of all content provided.

6. No Time-Wasters Policy

6.1 CG Web Studio operates professionally.

6.2 Submitting the Google Form indicates genuine intent to proceed with the project.

6.3 Repeated cancellations, ghosting after approval, excessive changes outside scope, or failure to proceed may result in immediate project termination.

6.4 Deposits are non-refundable once work has begun.

6.5 CG Web Studio reserves the right to refuse service to clients who do not operate in good faith.

7. Payment Terms

7.1 A 50% deposit is required before any work begins.

7.2 The remaining 50% must be paid before final website files are delivered.

7.3 No final files will be sent before full payment is received.

7.4 Deposits are strictly non-refundable once work has started.

7.5 If final payment is not made, the website remains the property of CG Web Studio and may not be used in any form.

8. Ownership and Use

8.1 All drafts, designs, concepts, and source code remain the property of CG Web Studio until full payment is received.

8.2 After full payment, ownership of the final delivered website files transfers to the client.

8.3 CG Web Studio retains rights to underlying frameworks, coding structures, reusable components, and development methods.

9. Revisions

9.1 Each package includes a set number of revision rounds.

9.2 A revision round consists of one list of reasonable changes submitted at one time.

9.3 Additional revisions or major changes outside the agreed scope will be charged separately.

10. Final Approval and Client Responsibility

10.1 Clients are given revision rounds to review the website before final delivery.

10.2 By approving the final version and completing full payment, the client confirms that:

• The website has been fully reviewed
• All requested revisions were completed
• All content, links, media, and information are correct
• The website meets the agreed project scope

10.3 After final approval, the client accepts full responsibility for the approved version of the website.

10.4 CG Web Studio is not responsible for errors or issues not identified during the revision process.

11. Limitation of Liability

11.1 CG Web Studio is not responsible for:

• Hosting or server issues
• Security breaches after delivery
• Errors caused by third-party modifications
• Business losses, indirect losses, or lost revenue
• Legal issues arising from client-provided content or services

11.2 Total liability is strictly limited to the total amount paid for the project.

11.3 The client agrees not to bring legal claims against CG Web Studio for approved design decisions, functionality within agreed scope, or performance expectations beyond the agreed deliverables.

12. Portfolio and Attribution Rights

12.1 CG Web Studio retains the right to display completed projects in portfolios and marketing materials.

12.2 CG Web Studio may state publicly that it designed and developed the website.

12.3 CG Web Studio may include a small professional attribution link or watermark in the website footer.

12.4 The attribution may not be removed, hidden, altered, or modified without prior written permission.

12.5 Unauthorized removal of attribution is a breach of agreement and may result in legal action.

12.6 Requests to remove attribution require a separate written agreement and additional fee.

13. Privacy and Personal Information

13.1 All personal information submitted through the Google Form or during the project is kept strictly confidential.

13.2 CG Web Studio does not sell, share, or distribute personal information to any third parties.

13.3 Submitted information is used solely for communication, project completion, and administrative purposes.

14. Legal Enforcement

14.1 Failure to comply with payment terms, misuse of work, or breach of these terms may result in legal action to recover outstanding fees and related costs under South African law.

14.2 Any legal costs incurred in recovering unpaid amounts may be claimed where permitted by law.

15. Agreement Confirmation

15.1 By submitting the Google Form, the client confirms that:

• They have read and understood these Terms & Conditions
• They agree to all conditions listed above
• They accept full responsibility for services not included
• Submission constitutes a legally binding agreement

16. Working Hours

16.1 Working hours listed in the website will stay up to date. Any changes in time scope will lead to updates to the working hours

16.2 All project work, revisions, and communication are conducted strictly within these hours. Schedules may vary due to project demands or public holidays.

16.3 Your website's progress may be temporarily paused during these times.

17. Express Delivery

17.1 Project is prioritized and completed faster than standard turnaround time (subject to availability).

17.2 If several Express Delivery services are purchased and the project is delivered late, you may qualify for a discount on your final payment.

17.3 The discount applies only to the amount paid for Express Delivery.

18. Website Backup Package (Monthly)

18.1 Structured website backup files organized and prepared for secure long-term storage, in case of website breach or file loss. Monthly subscription service.

18.2 If the monthly payment is not received, your website backup files may be removed from storage and legal steps may be taken to recover the outstanding amount.

19. Additional Revision Rounds

19.1 One additional structured revision round beyond what is included in your package. A revision round consists of one compiled list of reasonable changes submitted at once.

19.2 Further revision rounds may be discussed and provided free of charge through direct communication.

20. Discounts and Sales (Business Launch Sale)

20.1 This limited-time offer ends on 10 April 2026. Only one discounted website may be purchased per customer, with any second website billed at the regular price.

20.2 Attempting to obtain a second discounted website through a false identity may result in legal action.

20.3 Discounted Add‑Ons will keep their reduced price until the stated discount end date (10 April 2026).
